Zonta Club of Fairfax County is an organization of professionals empowering women through service and advocacy.
A member of Zonta International, a leading global organization founded in 1921 and have been advancing women’s rights, empowering women and advocating for gender equality for over a century.
Our Vision
We envision a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential.
In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men.In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Our History
Serving Fairfax County Since 1956
The Zonta Club of Fairfax has provided service support to Fairfax County for more than sixty years. It was sponsored by the Zonta Club of Washington D.C. and was welcomed into Zonta International December of 1956 and chartered in February of 1957. At that time, there were 22 members, one of whom was Marion Earle, who continued to serve as a member for more than 40 years.

Currently, Zonta Club of Fairfax is comprised of more than 20 dedicated members, who continue working to improve the legal, political, economic, health, educational, and professional status of women, and advocate for issues to improve the lives of women in our community and our world.

The Club is an active member of Zonta International, who’s history is woven from a rich fabric of empowerment and progressive change. Today, Zonta International is a global organization of more than 28,000 women and men in more than 1,100 Zonta clubs in more than 60 countries.
